How This Personality Formula Works
We keep the calculator transparent. This is a fan-made guide that follows cross-checked current chart references instead of pretending Nintendo published a hidden official formula.
Formula steps
The 16-cell result comes from four active sliders only. We show the formula openly so users can verify the logic instead of trusting a black box.
1. socialScore = (movement - 1) + (speech - 1)
We convert each 1-8 slider into a 0-7 score first, then add the two social sliders together. The final socialScore decides the chart column band: 0-3, 4-7, 8-11, or 12-14.
2. mindsetScore = (energy - 1) + (thinking - 1)
We do the same conversion for the other two active sliders. The final mindsetScore decides the chart row band: 12-14, 8-11, 4-7, or 0-3.
3. finalCell = social band + mindset band
The 16-cell result comes from the intersection of those two score bands. Overall / Quirky is left out because it does not move the final personality cell in the current chart references we cross-check.
